The endgame power players have stepped up their desperate hold on power. The next few years are definitely going to be eventful and interesting. I admit, I am tempted to leave this country before the poo hits the oscillator. The "jury" is still deliberating.

I agree with your statment in general, however, I am not sure where one would go to get away from the endgame power players. Of course, I think there are a number of things that we can do to resist these power players.

Your attitude is a bit more positive than mine. I am resisting in all that I can, but I do not kid myself about the extreme measures they can and will take to destroy me if I become a threat to their sadistic agenda. I have friends moving to Costa Rica and have been invited. However, I do not believe my family will approve; and I am looking forward somewhat to how things will unfold here. It will definitely be exhilarating!

Thanks for the update.

Of course, I wish you well no matter what course of action you may decide to take.

Need A Crash Course In The Reality Of The Income Tax?
Read What A Few Experts Have To Say:

"The income tax is, therefore, not a tax on income as such. It is an excise tax with respect to certain activities and privileges which is measured by reference to the income which they produce. The income is not the subject of the tax: it is the basis for determining the amount of tax."
F. Morse Hubbard, Treasury Department legislative draftsman. House Congressional Record March 27th 1943, page 2580

"...the requirement to pay [excise] taxes involves the exercise of privilege."
United States Supreme Court, Flint vs. Stone Tracy Co. 220 U.S. 107 (1911)

“The right to follow any of the common occupations of life is an inalienable right…”

“It has been well said that 'the property which every man has in his own labor, as it is the original foundation of all other property, so it is the most sacred and inviolable. The patrimony of the poor man lies in the strength and dexterity of his own hands, and to hinder his employing this strength and dexterity in what manner he thinks proper, without injury to his neighbor, is a plain violation of this most sacred property’.”
United States Supreme Court, Butcher Union Co. v. Crescent City Co., 111 U.S. 746 (1883)

”Included in the right of personal liberty and the right of private property- partaking of the nature of each- is the right to make contracts for the acquisition of property. Chief among such contracts is that of personal employment, by which labor and other services are exchanged for money or other forms of property”
United States Supreme Court, Coppage v. Kansas, 236 U.S. 1 (1915)

“We are of opinion, however, that the confusion is not inherent, but rather arises from the conclusion that the 16th Amendment provides for a hitherto unknown power of taxation; that is, a power to levy an income tax which, although direct, should not be subject to the regulation of apportionment applicable to all other direct taxes. And the far-reaching effect of this erroneous assumption will be made clear by generalizing the many contentions advanced in argument to support it...”

“[Taxation of "income" is]in its nature an excise entitled to be enforced as such unless and until it was concluded that to enforce it would amount to accomplishing the result which the requirement as to apportionment of direct taxation was adopted to prevent, in which case the duty would arise to disregard form and consider substance alone, and hence subject the tax to the regulation as to apportionment which otherwise as an excise would not apply to it”
United States Supreme Court, Brushaber v. Union Pacific R. Co., 240 U.S. 1 (1916)

"The provisions of the Sixteenth Amendment conferred no new power of taxation . . ."
United States Supreme Court, Stanton v. Baltic Mining Co., 240 U.S. 103 (1916)

“The Sixteenth Amendment, although referred to in argument, has no real bearing and may be put out of view. As pointed out in recent decisions, it does not extend the taxing power to new or excepted subjects...”
United States Supreme Court, Peck v. Lowe, 247 U.S. 165 (1918)

"We must reject… …the broad contention submitted in behalf of the government that all receipts-- everything that comes in-- are income…”
United States Supreme Court, So. Pacific v. Lowe, 247 U.S. 330, (1918)

A DOJ Desperate To Suppress The Truth Files Seven Profoundly Corrupt Lawsuits
Ironically, The Department Is Forced To Illustrate A Key Lesson Of 'Cracking the Code- The Fascinating Truth About Taxation In America' In The Process...

http://www.losthorizons.com/Newsletter.htm

Quote:
The fact is, these suits are FOUNDED on nothing but the testimony of those who created "information returns" (W-2s) about those targets, which are required by law (and fundamental legal principles) to be sent to the government at the same time that they are sent to those about whom they are created. Granted, these IR creators appear pretty lax about following the law (see The Criminal Rites Of Spring), but we know they at least sent them out to the filers (since it is these IRs that the filers are accused of disagreeing with). We also know that the whole point of sending them to the filers is to give notice to those men and women that they have been testified about-- by means of the same form having been sent to the government-- so that they can look after their interests by way of response. Further, we have heard nothing about any of these companies being charged with a failure to submit the forms at the time and in the manner provided by law. (For that matter, we have heard nothing about THEM being accused of making "false and fraudulent" expressions for disagreeing with the FILER'S testimony...)

In fact, it is a virtual certainty that the amounts withheld, and re-claimed, by the good and brave Americans who are now targeted for abuse simply for testifying in a fashion contrary to the government's preferences, were verified by comparison with the very "information returns" is relying upon in trying to make its case in these suits. Thus, the proposition that the poor, eager-to-please Treasury Department just sent out these checks due to taking the filer's word for things, while having no other information to work with, is not just absurd-- it is a bald-faced lie.

From Pete Hendrickson:

A Call For Action

The lies about the "income" tax have had the run of the media for long enough; it's time for the truth to have its day. I'm asking each and every one of you to put forth a little effort in this regard, and help make it a real contest.

Below, you will find links to a version of the current newsletter in two different formats: .pdf and .htm. Please download the appropriate file(s), and email, snail mail, or personally deliver a soft or hard copy of this document to every news organization you can get to-- newspapers, radio stations, TV stations and websites-- large or small. Make some effort to see to it that the document gets to the right person, not just general delivery. Urge the recipient to READ IT ALL THE WAY THROUGH, and to keep in mind, if they are inclined to "ask a tax expert", how that tax "expert's" bread is likely buttered. Also, be sure to point out to them that despite the massive hyperbole in the DOJ announcement of last week, no one has been sued but Doreen and me; and despite all the huffing and puffing in the language of the suits, the treasury dept. continues to issue refunds to readers, without any interruption.

I thank you all in advance for this effort, and I thank you all for the wonderful support, encouragement, and good wishes extended to my wife and me over the last week.

-Pete

P. S. Please remember to check the newsletter regularly-- it is being updated frequently, now.

If you are serious about the restoration of liberty and the rule of law in our lifetime, forward this email to EVERYONE in your address book-- your parents, your kids, your co-workers, your friends, etc..

If at any time you decide that you no longer wish to receive messages from Lost Horizons, simply indicate that fact by reply. On the other hand, if you know of others who cherish the Rule of Law, we would be delighted if you would forward our messages accordingly.
