W-8Ben Accounts

Im in the process of opening up two W-8 accounts the bank is a go with them but now they want me to register my entity's with L&I. This is somthing I really don't want to do but if I can get away with not have any numbers associated with it them i'm cool with it. has anyone else went through this.

Presuming that you mean Pennsylvania's L&I (Few would probably know what that is unless they were from Penn.--perhaps be a bit cautious about using acronyms). If you are not "doing business in the state" (having a bank account and managing internal affairs is not necessarily doing business in a state) then there should be no requirement to "register" the entity.

I'm from washington, I'm not sure why I need to register themn either. they have never done a W-8 in a business account. I just don't want them to try and put some sort of tax id number on them. if thats the case then I just won't do it. Do you have w-8 accounts if so were they hard to get.
