Folks:


Mark this down to: "Is he really THAT stupid?"


But I have an observation, and one question.


Observation:
In four years of dealing with agents acting on behalf of the Virginina Department of Taxation, I just realized something. And that "something" is that despite all the "bills" we've received, not one has even been a "demand for payment."& I.E., not one little "make check payable to...." Only "you owe x-amount...."


Question:
That HAS to "mean something," right? But what?

Well, the way I see it is if they haven't made a demand for payment then you have nothing to worry about!!

I just went back through all my stuff. Shucks. There, near the bottom, in the "fine print," is the "make check payable to...." stuff.& So busy responding to the other stuff I never thought to look for the "details."


(Been a long weekend. First grandchild born late Saturday night....)
