DOJ Lawsuit Against Bill Benson Backfires

Several years ago I obtained a copy of a memorandum (many generations of copying therefore it is lacking in clarity somewhat) from a source in Las Vegas; a man who has been providing resources in the struggle against tyranny for some years now.

Have any members ever seen this or wish to make commentary regarding it?

If indeed authentic and certifiable it may have some considerable value.

That would probably be Irwin Schiff. In his case the jury was scheduled to get the case today. I haven't heard anything yet. Also, tessa Rose has rejected a PA plea offer and is scheduled to go to trial in early Nov. Irwin is the zero income guru (show me the law!), Larken and Tessa Rose argue the 861 issue. In my years of studying the tax issues knowledge and belief are
a key term.

His name is Reed - has his own experience and resource set going back to '59.

He is a non-attorney counsel in law with a considerable history of court experiences - was a guest on the Lou Epton radio show in Las Vegas quite often.

I have a couple of his volumes of rebuttal letters for a variety of situations - not sure if he is still active - he began an extended motor tour of the U.S.A. couple years ago and I haven't been in touch with him recently.

Uses the Bill of Rights primarily and invokes certain other Acts.

No web site - he's pretty much a "local" celeb.

The article referenced in the first message on this thread only calls attention to Bob Schulz's (of "We The People" and "Give Me Liberty") inability to tell the unvarnished truth.

Benson -- who's already spent time in prison and already been nailed for violating the terms of his parole -- moved to dismiss the tax prosecution against him, and that motion was rejected, and somehow Schulz thinks this is a victory for Benson.

A number of courts have already rejected Benson's arguments about the 16th Amendment, often by reference to the Separation of Powers, but at least one court bothered to analyze Benson's legal logic and found it seriously defective.

Benson has been in and out of court more than half a dozen times, and his book has been used by tax protesters in at least a dozen cases -- and not a single time has Benson been on the winning side.
