Has anyone looking into the land patent thing checked the act of congress that their patent was issued under? Alot of times the apurtenances are included in the patent! As a lawful assign those things mentioned in that act are still what you get today.

Then you would have to have all the houses wired together. I don't know how tough that would be. Then you have to power the turbine with natural gas which you would still have to pay for and be dependent on unless you use biodiesel or some other gas. that section also has previous posts for solar power and discussions about batteries, etc.

Microturbines: Why is everyone (sic) looking at only advanced technology options for generating power? I suggest you look back further into alternate power. There are many, many more alternatives that can be home built if you either have the time, or can swap and trade for what you need.

Muzzleloader season?: Who decides what season it is> Mother nature has for time immemorial decides the seasons. I think that only governmaental bodies like BB would have the gall and arrogance to say that you can only kill in a certain way for survival and other reasons. Do you think that BB is going to wait until springtime or fall, or a designated time of agreement to come and take what you have worked so hard for? Seasons? Give me a break. Did our ancestors decide that you could only hunt with a bow and arrow, vice a kentucky long rifle during certain times of the year?

Just something to start or germinate discussion on going deeper.

You're right in regards to the seasons issue. Truth is... I really don't pay any attention to all that. Bow is best because I can use it whenever I want without attracting unwanted attention. (It seems the DNR guys think they can enter your property whenever they think one of their rules is being violated). Wish I would have had a bow with me earlier... went through our back woods to a friends home... on the way we spied a nice sized doe. She just looked at us. On our return trip she was still there. We went back and attempted to guide her across the road where Icescowgirls brother was perched with his bow. Didn't work out that way though.

And yes, the simpler the tech for producing electricity, the better. I'm looking for simple solutions for this issue.
