how BB views us

I should just stop.
Stop looking into this stuff. Stop researching. Just stop. Take that other damned pill and just get plugged back in.
The following is brought to you by our good friends who give us the Internal Revenue Manual:

5.19.1.4.3.1 (12-15-2002)
National Standards for Determining Expenses

7. A taxpayer who claims more than the total allowed by the national standards must substantiate and justify each separate expense of the total national standard amounts.

8. How the amount allowed for national standards is spent is up to the taxpayer.

[Me here: And people wonder why they're called withholding "allowances"?& God forbid I actually exeed what BB "allows" me to have. Bastards!]

5.19.1.4.3.4 (12-15-2002)
Transportation Expenses

Example:

In some cities, public transportation cuts commuting time and a car is only a personal convenience for the taxpayer, not a necessity.

[Me, again: Glad that we have a "god" who determines what's necessary and what's not. Bastards!]

5.19.1.4.3.6 (12-15-2002)
Unsecured Debt Expenses

1. Payments on unsecured debts may also be necessary. The necessary expense test of health and welfare and/or production of income must be met. Instances in which unsecured debts are necessary expenses should occur infrequently. Examples of unsecured debts which may be necessary expenses include:

A. Payments required for the production of income such as payments to suppliers and payments on lines of credit needed for business.
B. Payment of debts incurred in order to pay a federal tax liability.

[Me, again: Moral of story? Credit card debt is BAD BAD BAD, well, unless it's to PAY YOUR DAMNED TAXES! Bastards!]

5.19.1.5.4 (12-31-2003)
Can Pay by Installments

3. B. Identify the tax liability to be covered by the agreement.

Example:

Taxpayer writes or calls and states he owes money and wants to send $200 a month. This request would not qualify for independent review or appeal rights. The taxpayer has not identified the liability. (This is for rejection purposes only, if you could establish an agreement within streamlined criteria, go ahead and grant the request.)

[Me, again: See? Like all of us here know, it really is "voluntary." WE have to admit the "liability." God, I hate this stuff so much. Why couldn't I have been born a few hundred years ago and just go out and slay dragons so I could get laid by the fair maiden? Life would've been so good.....]

Randy---You are such a breath of fresh air..........
Tora---My sister and husband are feeling the same way...supposedly have IRS lien, banks won't touch them to buy a house or anything, 3 kids, on and on. They've had it up to their eyeballs. My family went through our "crap" about 1yr ago with a B.S. levy...(more on that at a later date and time).
I told my sister and husband to come here to SJ and ask questions...that they are not alone....people are successful.
I can only be of emotional support, right now, but where I can help, I will.
Well...that's about all I can say at the moment, but I wish everyone the best! There is such an abundance of good people here with much knowledge....good has to prevail.

Hey, Tora....

"Trap" is exactly the right word.

After hearing so many of my rants about all this stuff, our younger daughter (nine-years old) put it this way:

"Sounds like we're all playing monopoly."

So how 'bout that? A nine-year old kid "gets is," perfectly.

Only thing is we're literally forced to play. And that's what sucks.

RANDY-DUDE AND TORA,

I'M JUST GETTING STARTED IN ALL THIS S---!& DON'T START TALKING LIKE THAT NOW.&

IT'S LIKE AN&AFFLICTION YOU'RE BORN WITH AND DOESN'T EXPRESS ITSELF UNTIL LATER IN LIFE.& LIKE PSORIASIS WITH ACCOMPANYING PSORIATIC ARTHRITIS. YOU CAN'T JUST QUIT.& YOU FIGHT IT UNTIL UNTIL YOU DIE.& IF YOU DON'T FIGHT IT (WITH **** AND PHYSICAL REGIMEN) THEN YOU'RE GONNA HURT AND ITCH AND SCRATCH AND SEEP BLOOD ALL THE TIME.

WELL WE WERE BORN WITH THIS AFFLICTION CALLED THE GOVERNMENT AND WITH IT COMES THE OPPRESSION WE EXPERIENCE.& IF YOU QUIT, YOU ARE GOING TO HURT MORE, WHETHER YOU REALIZE IT OR NOT.& THE THING IS THAT IF YOU QUIT NOW YOU CAN'T HELP BUT REALIZE WHAT'S HAPPENING....YOU KNOW TOO MUCH NOT TO HAVE IT HURT.

BESIDES, RANDY, YOU HAVE A FAMILY LEGACY TO CARRY ON.& YOU HAVE TO KEEP FRANCES-ING THEM...!

MY TWO CENTS,

RICKY

Re:how BB views us

There is no freedom from the desire for freedom.

The Bible says: "And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free."

First you have to know it, then , it's application will set you free.

I remember in the movie "The Shawshank Redemption", Andy Dufresne talks about the fact that they can't touch your hope. There is a place in your mind that they cannot reach.

This drives them crazy. Derive pleasure from that fact if nothing else, but don't stop pushing for freedom.

I, too, am at the point of REALLY wanting it, and seeing that it takes effort, but you have to know that it is worth it, if only to be free in your mind.

Is this a pep rally? No, I am just trying to tell you that you aren't alone, and that you can at the very least accomplish SOMETHING.

Don't give up. He (or she) who quits first loses by attrition.

In a war, there are no innocents. Hiding or running will not make you any less of a target.

Re:how BB views us

Hi, Y'all...

Please don't misunderstand: "Turning back" is NOT an option. "Quitting" is NOT an option.

And I agree: "They/It" have to see, by real-life examples and effort and willingness to "fight" that there are still people to whom words like "freedom" and "truth" are NOT going to be allowed to be stolen and turned into something ugly and manipulative by weak-minded and spineless bastards who find meaning in life by banding together and bullying others, even when it's done in the name of "the law."

Ironic, isn't it, that our "government" does such a bang-up job instilling in its "citizens" the determination to fight "foreign" enemies, but when confronted with the truth about how tyrannical and unjust their own government is, these same "brave" people and "heroes" cower and say, "Well, that's just the way it is. You can't do anything about it."

I.E.:

Fight FOR your government is okay.
Fight FOR your own autonomy is not.

That sucks.

And "they" can bite me!
