CP-518 and Notice of Potential Thrid Party Contact

Iamfree,

I thought you were having great success with using BOE's for IRS matters. Is the person you are referring to using the same method that you used?

Also, I don't understand why you guys aren't asking the IRS to produce the contract that compels your performance.

How about asking the IRS to prove Jurisdiction in one of the "union" states ?

I'll bet they can't do it.

I've heard many try to get their employer to change the W2 information to show 0 under taxable wages. I'm thinking most won't bother.

On the KenG IRS videos(LINK), he mentions making an affidavit stating that you received no taxable income, which would then invalidate the W2 information. It stands as truth unless rebutted. Someone asked him about sending it to the employer. He said that you can, but it isn't necessary. Just do the affidavit, then make it available to the IRS.

I guess this ties in somewhat with the commercial affidavit that some are sending to the IRS in lieu of a tax return.
