I have yet to see anyone who is truly judgement proof. I know there are a lot of people who think they can make themselves judgement proof, but I have not yet seen anything that works. If you turn everything you own over to a trust, etc, and do so in the correct manner, then you have no assets true, but any future earnings you make could be attached.
I don't think anyone can protect themselves against civil actions. Sooner or later everyone does something that could involve a civil action.
In tax cases, people are successful in beating the criminal rap, but then they have to fight it out in civil court about paying what a government thinks they owe. I have yet to see anything come up that stops that cold. Even if you get your assets hidden/protected in some manner, you could still be the recipient of a judgement that could affect your future earnings, etc. So I don't see how anyone could consider themselves judgement proof. You may not have anything to take right then, but you could still have a judgement hanging over your head that you are obligated to satisfy somewhow.
