According to your reasoning then Jesus was screwed up too. He told us to give everything away, pick up our crosses and follow him.
|
Give everything away and you won't have any income tax problems. Why don't you volunteer your time instead of working for those pesky FRNs?

Yeah right. That would explain why the press has been shredding Bush and friends in their various publications...

Got to love the hubris of the people in this movement. You fancy yourself to be just like Gandhi and William Penn, eh?

Big Al, Perhaps she keeps posting in this thread in hopes of burying the facts. It seemed obvious early on that her reason to post in this thread was to espouse her opinion on there being a law requiring one to have a SSN before being able to work. Who knows why she has continued on her mindless off-topic rantings once it was exposed that there is no such law.

I never said there was a law requiring you to have a social security number. The Amish don't have one and they get along just fine.
Of course, if you want to earn decent money, or get a drivers license, or open a bank account, or invest your savings, or live a lifestyle that is a little more pleasant that living day to day as a cash worker, you'll need to get one. It's your choice, though.

What's the problem? The point is that these great individuals were made to suffer for their beliefs, by an arrogant government. Many people, in this movement, are suffering from a similar condition today.

At the bottom of these peoples belief system is the idea that we own something to Government. That we are the artificial persons created by the state. The State is supream to the people. With out us to be there (their) servants we the people would be lost. The origin of these crap ideas comes from the French at the time of there (their) revolution. This idea is the vary heart of the infection that pervades government and the crates throughout this land. The people have become the servants to what they think of themselves as the ruling class.

They were leaders, not followers.

I don't believe it's isolated to a group who think we owe something to the Goobermint. There is also a collection of people who feel that the government should take care of and protect them because of insecurities. The whole so******t SSN ponzi scheme is a good example. Everyone has a right to earn a living. Doing so without a so******t security is not wrong, immoral or illegal.
It is the God givern right of every one of us.
These people don't seem to want to acknowledge that and only parrot what they've been brainwashed into thinking; working without a SSN is wrong. Very pathetic.
