Governor for the IMF
The Senate Report accompanying the Bretton Woods Amendments in the mid-70's expressly forbids the Secretary of the Treasury a/k/a US Governor for the International Monetary Fund from being paid by the United States. He is of course being paid by the Institution (IMF) and would be collecting double salary. It is clear especially after reading United Nations in World Book Encyclopedia (1966) that Secretary Paulson (formerly Snow) is an employee of the United Nations through the IMF, a UN organ).
Skeptics including court clerks think that the Secretary of the Treasury is a government employee. Nope. Court clerks say he should be given the sixty day response period to a federal summons instead of the twenty day period. At least they used to until I started citing the Senate Report. I came across an interesting confirmation that nothing has changed about that infrastructure - that the IMF is really the entity housed in the Main Treasury at 1500 Pennsylvania Avenue NW there adjacent to the White House at 1600.
