Shanghied by the state

I have been dealing with the state on a tax issue for several
years. They say I owe back taxes for several years but by my
calculations I don't owe anything.

I recently ordered my credit report when turned down for a loan and
found out that they filed a civil suit in circuit court against me
and it look like they filed in Oct. of 2005 and Nov. of 2005 but
for the same thing. Currently there are three of these on my credit
report for the same issue and it has reduced my score by approx.
100 points.

I never received any notice or court paperwork indicating a civil
suit was filed or being pursued by the state.

Should I attack the circuit court and recorder office filing first
with a refusal for cause or some other common law tool, then
dispute the credit entries so they can be removed.

I recently received a threat to garnish my pay for the same issue.
Should I attack the state revenue agent with common law tools or
what.

Please help.

neomatrix, welcome to the suijuris forum.
If they file the lawsuit twice, did you receive any notice of their filing?
It seems to me they already get the default judgment on you.

I did not recieve any paperwork from the state or the court on a judgment.

You need to check the court record what they have in there first before you do anything. In additional checks the recorder information as well to see what they have in their record. You can post it here for the answer to your question.
