Parking Ticket Refused for Cause Stamp

Without Prejudice.
A stamp with verbage like what follows was placed on a parking ticket as per my instructions and nothing has been heard concerning the ticket since.
Quote:

Refused for Cause Without Dishonor. Your abandoned papers are void and are hereby abated for misnomer. The exercise or enjoyment of rights is not subject to your discretion. All Rights Reserved.

All contractual verbage was scratched out. It was returned to the police office within 72 hours of it being "found".

How long ago was that ticket returned to them? I've seen them wait as much as a couple months, then without further effort to collect, they simply turn it over to a collection company. Meanwhile, it sits as a "lien" against your license renewal...

I'd love to hear that it worked, and you verified that there was no lingering effects!

I signed one "Refused For Cause" Sent it in within 2 days and got back a letter basically stating "Your administrative order is declined you have 15 days from the date of this letter to pay the fine" It was $15 and I have bigger fish to fry.So I relinquished my hard earned fiat currency.

Send a message via Yahoo to powder
I offered to a friend who received 5 pieces of paper in exchange for the theft of the state's vehicle...

He refused for cause all presentments to two cops.

Their supervisor called him the day after the cops received their presentments back via registered mail.

"What lawyer are you using"?
"Who gave you this advice?"

hehe.

After three days, they accept terms of agreement.

I helped a couple through that just recently. When the day for trial came (with a substitute judge because the original recused himself for unexplained conflict of interest) the judge made a show out of being the one to decide...

That by accepting the novation (plea bargain with almost all the verbiage struckthrough) and $96 money order the agreement had been struck.

Regards,

David Merrill.

We just went through this. Took them a while ( a month or two?), and we heard nothing at all from them after R4C returning parking ticket. Then out of nowhere, we got a piece of mail from a collection agency. Sent them a VOD. I expect they will go away, but apparantly the ticket is still on the books waiting for an attempt to renew license...

This is why one should have an evidence repository set up. Either publish the R4C at the county clerk and recorder or open a miscellaneous jacket in the US district court. By using the Registered Mail (clerk instruction) you can notify any collection agents or the DMV that the cause was dead at inception.
