Right to Travel

Go to Traillogs.com and read the posting, Right to Travel Earns Recognition, by David Jahn. It includes a support letter from Samuel Rohrer, a legislator in Pennsylvania, to the trial judge, Streiter supporting the position of one William Taylor Reil about an individuals right to travel. Of course, at the trial Reil was found guilty by the judge. The support letter is a pdf document; downloadable and saveable. I left a message at Rohrer's local office, thanking him. I intend to send a message to his website, thanking him. It might be a good idea for everyone to contact him and thank him. I have had no luck finding William Taylor Reil on the internet. I was sure all of you would like this information. Joseph Sugarman, design@dream-home.com

The link did not work.

Further is there any reason in particular why I would want to learn a losing strategy?

I've said it once, I'll say it again, you do not have a right to travel on the hiways. The Federal government allows the states to regulate thier hiways and interstates.

You find me a State Judge that will let you off on your "right to travel", and I'll bend over backwards and kiss my own a**! Look to your supreme courts rulings, do a search on "right to travel" and READ the cases, you'll see this argument isn't worth your time. I wish it was, but its not that way.

YES!!! Have you noticed that in my thread "cody's right to travel" I never use the phrase "Right to travel" in any of my posts or arguments. In my first post I call it "beating a dead horse."

Agreed. waste of time! Study SMJ, study due process,,,and for cryng out loud study the statutes. Quit looking for a SCOTUS handout that wraps it all up in one paragraph. Do the work. Study law.

I am done with this stuff.

Bye

Right to travel is not dead horse--if you are talking right to travel but arent consistent then you might have problems.

The Supreme Court in Montana won't even look at an appeal on this issue, it has been decided. There is no right to travel in Montana.

By this I mean driving without a DL, no tags on car, ect..
