Sorry myself. I did not mean to jump down your throat then. I thought you were asking the same question twice in a row in order to show that I was somehow being non-responsive.

I will look into it and find out what all the the statutory requirements are for peace officers and then the charter elements.

This is what I have found so far, for what it is worth.
