Red-Light Camera Ticket
I searched and was not able to find a thread discussing this topic....so if anyone knows of an existing thread, pass it along....
Well I'm thinking I got flashed today by one of those pesky traffic intersection cameras, so in anticipation of the ticket by mail, any suggestions on a response to squash this?

Take down the mailbox in front of the house you sleep in.
and, No, I'm not kidding.
Oh yeah, send back the DRIVER LICENSE by registered mail, after recording that return notice at the county recorder or register of deeds.

Oakland CA Agenda Report For Red Light GOV Spy Cameras Reply with quote
The Actual Agenda Report HERE:
http://www.thenewspaper.com/rlc/docs/2007/ca-spylaw.pdf
Privacy advocates have long viewed red light cameras with the suspicion that the devices were the first step down a path of increased surveillance. Those fears may come true as the city of Oakland, California has revealed that it is working with the state legislature to secure a change in the law that will allow red light cameras to become full-scale surveillance cameras. In a memo from the Oakland Police Department dated June 26, Police Chief Wayne G. Tucker recommended that the city’s lobbyist be ordered to advocate a new law in Sacramento.

Extramural is right. They use the mail system as a quasi process server. If you aren't served you aren't accountable.
You could also begin to study Commercial Redemption including; "Accepted For Value", Conditional Acceptance, Notarial Protest, Notice and Demand, etc.

Uh, Judge, I'd like to ask this camera some questions.

I was intending a few months ago to share with Sui Juris a strange admittance by Houston's city Mayor. He gave a press conference that addressed the huge numbers of persons not paying red light camera tickets.
He said "we can't make you pay those red light camera tickets but what we will do is place a lien on your real estate." As far as I'm concerned he admitted these tickets were bogus and didn't need to be paid.
Refusal for Cause the tickets they send you in the mail. You have a right to not do business with them.

Thing in this case is to do a subpoena duces tecum for the municipality to produce the contract they have with the company that installs the photo-radar stuff
The companies who set these up, work for a percentage of the tickets
Dismiss for failure to join an indispensable party
