Red face

Thanks seipel133, I will make some calls, and see what is necessary to get that great seal on something I can use. If I have any news it will appear here! My first call will be to the office of the great seal in the state capitol.

Lavender, did you hear anything from your Department of State about the "great seal". According to Missouri D. of S. website it takes one day and I think they say they charge 10 dollars or so.

Biometric passports set to take flight

If that's a concern, but you need a passport, you better hurry.
From the article at yahoo.com:

If you're concerned about the security of the upcoming passports, Ruiz offers this advice: "Get your paper copy right now before they go electronic."

You know, somebody may wish to check the box next to U.S.citizen as "NO", with religious objection in the SSN box and the name of the State in the country box. Also use the certificate of birth, (not the State issued cert), make your own ID and have it appostiled. Just a thought.

I had heard that someone has done this, and carries it with him with the state "seal". Anyone ever heard of how this is done, required documents? a trip to the state capital?

Doing some reading, came across this post.

Would it not be correct to say that anybody born in one of the 50 states is a citizen. The 'state' is a legal fiction, it does not exist...only another legal fiction can be born in a state. But if you were born on the land mass known as ******* that is another matter. Since the word 'anybody' may include 'corporate body' the statement is quite correct.

This is why I tell people that it is important that they realize they live on the land mass known as *********.

Also, the term City of Toronto is a legal fiction, it is the legal fiction look-alike to the city of Toronto. Only names are capitolized, but the word city is not unless you are referring to the legal fiction City of Toronto. Tow completely different things.

State of North Dakota - Legal Fiction
the land mass known as North Dakota - real place where a living man/woman would reside.

There are two worlds operating here side by side. The legal fiction world, and the real world. These must be kept clearly apart.

Let the dead do business with the dead, and the living with the living.
