right to travel in fl
Hello all. I live in florida, and have recently had my DL suspended for child support. First let me say that I DO pay my support, but my income is erratic, so I sometimes get behind. It's been suspended for past due support, but I need to travel to and from work in order to have any hope of catching up my support payments. in the town in which I reside, it's only a matter of time before I get pulled over, and I am trying to find out what steps to take now to make it easier to assert my right to travel. Do I need to file papers, or do I simply wait for the inevitable, and then deny their jurisdiction over me? I'm not trying to "get over on anything", I just want to travel freely to and from work, as is my god given right. Any help will be much appreciated.

First, you must know who you are. Then ask yourself do you really live IN Florida? I live in my body and take up housekeeping on the land. I do not re-side anywhere. You not only have to talk it but walk it.
Do not get sidetracked by any of the agent provocateurs on this site. Stay focused and research and study and then research and study some more.
Once you have the knowledge then apply in every way of you life. In other words live it!! The only one that can do that is you.
There are many on this site that can steer you in the right direction, but it is ultimately up to you.

give me more
clearly you have troubles enough,
I would guess they have some money due to get back your license?
Petition the court for a minimum work restricted, your better off to start the fight than you are to wait till they bring it.

okay, I am aware that I live in my body. I should have said that I spend nearly all of my time in florida, and that the state of florida is where i am likely to be pulled over. The state of florida is who would be prosecuting me for an alleged infraction. I am reasonably sure that if I simply tell an officer that i don't require a license, he would simply arrest me. Since I have to travel to work, I will be running a very high risk of being pulled over. I'm just trying to figure out where to go from here,so that i am prepared for the eventuality. I cannot request a limited driving/work permit because I already have. i am 12 days late with my payment, so they took it, and won't give it back until i am completely caught up (around 1500$).
I just need to know where to start. Thanx everyone.

think
no matter what you think you can or can not do,
it is important to think this over
driving with suspended license must be worth at least 1 day in jail if you can bond out, fines costs etc, more wasted time.
So at the very least you should find another form of transportation to work, friend, family, taxi, bus whatever, do not think being arrested will help get you caught up on your bills.

I am not trying to antagonize you or in any way trying to offend you, but you must choose your words wisely. You keep referring to being in Florida. Tell me how you can do anything IN a legal fiction, the State of Florida?
You stated it is your driver license. Does it belong to you or the STATE? You might do well reading the back of the DL to see who owns the property that it (DL) describes. Is the picture on the DL you? If it is ask it a few questions and see if it answers you?
I am in no way asking these questions to rile you, but to get you to think what you are doing and saying. As I previously stated, you must walk your talk. If you are going to be a man then walk like it and not like a US citizen slave.
It is not only a matter of wanting to do something, but learning how. If you do not know who you are to begin with, then how do you expect to accomplish what you want? You talk like a legal fiction and not a man on the land.
It is not a matter of filing some piece of paper and hoping it will change things. You have to live it as well, otherwise you will end up nowhere but behind bars.
I hope you are taking what I have said in the manner it is intended.

having the car in your name is a huge mistake anyway
form a pure trust
http://www.svpvril.com/ubo.html
get a nominee to register the car in the name of the trust and make sure that your car VIN is no loner attached to your name in the DAVID database
When they run your tag, the name of the trust will pop up, not you

the above is a very good point. now that you are getting burned though maybe you are ready to face up to the current reality.
if your car is registered and state titled, you definitely need a license to drive it.
one strategy would be to cancel the registration and "junk" the car. That means filling out the appropriate form to "junk a vehicle", and filing it. By definition, a junked vehicle is not a vehicle anymore. So all those statutes that require a DL become moot.
or transfer the title out of state...but never complete the new certificate. not sure how that one works exactly.
The VC, by my reading, gets its jurisdiction over anyone by the operation of the vehicle, so thats where jurisdiction must be overcome. The state title itself makes the "self-propelled device" a motor vehicle.
You could use an IDP, but many states may have a law to beat that; "presenting foreign license while suspended on local" is a violation.
You could at least re-register your car in a business name, so at least you wont automatically stopped every time the plate is checked
(or get a different car altogether)
but expect a lot arguments and being charged anyway. keep AAA service to tow away the car if the cops wont let you drive away.
once there is a citation, thats another issue. we send those back 'undelivered' and make the MAN work extra hard to process the case.
see what you get for having a local license? if it were foreign, it couldn't be suspended this way- only judicially.

Do not go with a pure trust!!! If you want real protection go with a New Mexico LLC. www.keepyourassets.net.

i never had a problem with pure trusts for vehicles or houses or bank accounts or anything else for that matter. The whole object here is to actually register the property in an entity name, not an individual or natural person.
The purpose is not so much a legal argument as functional fact- the computer registry (the only database normally checked) reads "ABC INC" and not you.
to that end why pay 100 bux or any bux? 5 pieces of paper i copied out of some book always did me fine
1. Cover Sheet
2. Statement of Trust
3. Signature page
4. Assignment of Beneficiaries
5. Power of Attorney
