Emissions testing

Is this a scam or what? I've just spent all day running around, trying to get a stupid emissions test for my car, just to get a tag renewal, even though I know that none of this applies to me.

The air isn't any cleaner here, than in the neighboring state where there are no emissions testing. In fact, I think it is cleaner there.

It's all just another way of raping our wallets.
