It seems to me that since I have posted the private not for hire I now have an automobile. That's what I am currently looking into. There is one place in the NRS that refers to an automobile, however there is no definition of it.

Two of my automobiles have never been registered with the state and I currently have no DL.

I have a large Not For Hire sign in the back window of my truck. I did get followed one day by a cop, and then a dirty look when he passed me, but I have not been bothered since. But then I drove for four years without one before they pulled me over and informed me that driving is a privellidge and then assaulted me.

I'm still waiting to post on how the Private Prosecution is going once I finally lay the charges. I think I'm finally ready to go to the JP next week.

Briefly:

Through written correspondence, I cornered Virginia's Asst Commonwealth's Attorney on this very thing. I.E., I pointed out to him the, ummm, "apparent" contradictions in the code regarding a driver's "license" and what they call the "privelge." Took a couple of letters to get my point accross.

End of the matter? He agreed, in principle, that it was, well, a "mess." But was quick to add that I could always challenge it in court but that I should know going into it I would definitely lose.

Now, here in VA, taking the "state" to court (and losing) is, right off the top, $20,000.00. That's the minimum they say it takes for them to handle such things.

Gotta love 'em.....

Interesting. I'd NEVER thought about the "private vehicle, not for hire" thing....Mmmmmmmm

Yea the Private Not for Hire works really well. Please take note that I don't refer to a vehicle automobile or car on my notice. I don't want to give them anything to be misconstrued!

Why would anyone want a drivers license? They can get you into trouble. And $Cost.00 you on top of that.

For whom this privilege it may be?

If you are a corporation,or a member of one,this privilege is mandatory,in
order for you to be able to travel by automobile on the public roads.

If you are not a corporation or a member of one,you live outside of the

regulation.

Commercial or not,it doesn't matter as long as you are not under the

The reason none of THEIR agents is signing that application for a DL is,

If that application for the DL is not an commercial agreement or a contract,
what it is? Here is what it is:it is a trick meant for a <<sucker>> who asks
for it.

Hey everyone!!

Ok I am going to the Richard Cornforth Seminar on April 2&3. It is in Sacramento CA. I have a UCCFS filed there. I expect I might get pulled over by CHP. If I get some BS about "I don't know what kind of crazy laws they have in Nevada, but your not getting away with it here!" I am planning on responding with Since I am not a residdent of CA you must respect the laws of NV and I will show CHP my UCCFS for CA.
