Re:Police towed my car

GOOD STUFF! I'm reading it now.

So do you want to be the Officer, or the Tow truck driver? We'll get Ice to be the Judge and make a killing.

All we have to do is get rid of our common sense and we'll fit right in!

If so, there are no absolutes, and the only logical conclusion is that reality, truth, and right and wrong are determined arbitrarily on a daily basis by those with the most power, guns, and money, and the rest of us can choose to run, fight, or be their slaves.

Re:Police towed my car

I am now preparing a tort claim against the county, any suggestions are welcome. I'm looking for ballpark figures as to what I should request as a settlement. I've already looked over the injury claim docs in downloads.

I haven't rec'd the judges official ruling. Sept 25 was the last day for the&officer to file a response. Nothing was filed. The clerk said I would rec., in the mail, the judge's ruling within 10 days. I called on Tues. Oct. 7th, nothing had been entered. I was told to call back Thurs. and she would get with the recorder to inquire as to what was entered in the minutes. Perhaps the judge took notice of my copyright and doesn't want to be the one to put pen to paper?

Any way you slice it the officer removed from my possession, by threat and force, property that he was not entitle to, on the street they call it "car-jacking" and the fact that he was armed at the time the crime&was committed&would seem to make this a very serious offense. The towing co. sent lien sale notice to the reg. owner on DVM records, she's deceased. The officer knew this and didn't provide the tow co with my info, but when they sent the bill for $801.00 they knew where to send it, oversight or omission with intent to further damage? All parties conspired to extort money from me. The tow co. rec'd stolen goods then converted it to their profit, not exactly an innocent bystander.

I'm really not liking the way this whole thing has played out and I'm thinking I might need to invoice the officer. Who knows if there is a time restriction on sending invoice?

Counting on ya'll's continued support, FNM

Re:Police towed my car

The BEST information I've bought/studied and am currently putting into practice regarding Travel as of Right is a workshop that Jim Woods puts out at

http://www.beatalltraffictickets.com

This information is not for the faint of heart.& You will have to do some serious studying.& But, as I have learned and have inquired from others its about the best out there available.& Its not exactly cheap either.& About $550 for the whole enchilada and I recommend the whole thing so you get the whole perspective.

The gist of it all revolves around subject matter jurisdiction.& They, department of licensing, the court, the law enforcement officer,&don't have it.& You set your case up from that point of view from step one beginning with the traffic stop.

I don't get anything for mentioning this workshop but if you do decided to purchase, let Jim know that& Andy Jackson referred you.& I think its important that we help support each other where we can and I'd like him to know I think his material is worth recommending.
