I have a friend of mine who is an Immigrant. He has limited status in this country and I am not sure how to apply what I know to his case. He was given a ticket for driving under the influence of and I want to help him. I dont believe he will be deported I just want to avoid jail shock time. I presume he will be treated a resident like he is with his taxes. He seems to be in a very unique position ie no corporate status in the USA but without the luxury of being born here. First question I know enough about to ask is, how do I get a copy of the Police Report from the CITY. We were told you need a lawyer to get the police report but I know this is absolute BS. Where do I start looking for some ammo (statutes, laws, acts, provisions) to get a simple police report. We have been told from Bar Card Holders that we can get the report by filing some papers but cant be told what to file because that might be "giving legaladvise". More BS. I have used the Ticket Slayer papers in a previous case (for myself)but the language in them just doesnt seem to apply to him. I want create a concise defense. Are we already screwed by having a DL and registered vehicle and such. I realize that I was in my case. I mean if there are rules to using a defense then I dont mind using them or playing by them. If this is all voluntary commerce, then havent I already unvoluntrily consented to their authority by having a DL and Plates and the like?

The man is NOT a creature of government, no act of legislature, in either his home-nation nor here in the states, created him. He is a man on the land, created by God Almighty. Start with asking him if he knows the bible, then if true, tell him `his brother in christ said to read God's word literally and then do what it says.'
I hope that helps.
