OK, Want to get a little satisfaction?
I am working toward "right to travel status", but now my focus is on the Land Patent alone.
That being said, I was looking through the NC General Statutes this evening and I saw this nugget:
ยง 128-14. Identification cards for field agents or deputies of State departments.
Every field agent or deputy of the various State departments who is authorized to collect money, audit books, inspect premises of individual or business firms and/or any other field work pertaining to the department which he represents, shall be furnished with an identification card signed by the head of the department represented by him, certifying that the said field agent or deputy has authority to represent the department, and such identification card shall carry a photographic likeness of said representative. (1937, c. 236.)
If this is their "certifying" identification, then they have to show me theirs before I show them mine. LOL
How else will I know that they are duly authorized to ask me for my "license".
I'll get rid of the "license" soon enough, Till then, I can have a little fun...
I can almost hear Gomer Pyle screaming "Citizens Arrest!"
LOL
