I suppose then that there is really no need for further research, because one of the founding documents of this country spelled it out in its' title: The Articles of Confederation.

Not the first scintilla of an attempt to hide the truth. They let it be known from the onset, that this experiment was based upon a conspiracy to do something illegal.
