important perspective and paradigm

Quote:

First, the police do not have the authority to search you or your vehicle, not without probable cause, or at least reasonable suspicion, that you have, or are committing a crime. They may ask your permission for a search---which means they do not have legal grounds to force a search.

The back of the Registration/Tax Receipt has a contract where the vehicle owner agrees to have insurance for the vehicle. On these same lines that proves that compulsory insurance is not mandated by law; it is mandated by the owner's signature agreeing to it.
