I was thinking - What would signing the title over at registration with "All rights reserved" do for me? I am still reading on "All rights reserved" to get a *full* grasp on what it means. But would it have any effect on a certificate of title and registration?

Let me expand now that I have two free hands - I was thinking would I be reserving my common law right to not have to hold insurance on the vehicle I have transferred the title on? Would I be reserving my common law right to not have to register it every year and be under those contracts for said vehicle by signing all rights reserved? Or is this all wishful thinking?

Signing "All Rights Reserved" is reserving and NOT WAIVING any of your natural rights (which are protected and guaranteed by the Constitution for the united States of America). Now think of rights as opposed to privileges. See where it goes?



Why register a vehicle in order to have a privilege when you are reserving your natural rights? The only reason I can see for doing that is to make sure they understand that you are not making a gift of your auto to them.
