Speeding ticket from scratch
What about signing "Signed under duress *your name*".
If they want to cross **** out...let them, that is Fraud if they alter it after you sign...your signature is your signature...nobody can tell you what that is, or cross out a poart they do not like...that is fraud.
I agree with HenryBowman..prosecute the bitch to the fullest for fraud...go down to the JP and write an information of what happened and get a court summons issued for her.
I write Diagonally across all my tickets "I hereby refuse your offer of contract" then "Authorized representative of with P.O.A in Fact"....sign and date it, all in red pen. Then I send that certified mail to the Clerk of the Court. Now the ball is in their court.
I have yet to hear back about the matter, wait a few more weeks til I see what happens, but I would sign "under duress" the next time...you are after all....do you have a choice?

No no no----------no. Never pay for moving violation ticketed with FRN or any negotiable instrument, because you admit you guilty for that violation and automatic going straight to your driving record. If you received three moving violation within a year and payed the citation your license will be suspend for period of six months. Unless you make a living by driving commercial vehicle then you be reinstated and restricted with special license within the scope of that agency. Any moving violation within that period of time that previlege will be terminated by the secretary of state.

[color=black][b]What's this about using a red pen? What official source information are we getting that from? I noticed that munson mentioned the red ink on the first thread. Also, are there any more constructive comments on my suggestion a couple threads back?

Speeding ticket from scratch
Greetings, (First time posting here) Just a quick observation. Up here in Canada our licenses are always issued in some fiction name. Either ALL CAPS or in nom de guerre format Last, First, Middle. My understanding of this is making appearance for the citation issued. Since the ticket is always issued to the fiction name. The fiction name isn't you. So I would return the ticket to the address listed on the ticket (where the FRN's are supposedly to be paid) stating that fact. Up here in Canada the copsters don't require a signature on any tickets they just cite you. I just send the ticket back stating this isn't me, returned for attempted fraud. It's always the same old s**t. If you accept you owe it, You owe it.. Check out this site.

Speeding ticket from scratch
Last year, I slid off the road broke my arm bad enough(branch through the window), that I called an ambulance to transport me to the hospital. Then called a friend to drive my truck home. Before I got loaded into the ambulance, a trooper(rare in these parts) showed up to "make sure there was no foul play." Hey, the road was straight, but slick, no traffic, I made a mistake.
When I return from the hospital two weeks later(a couple of surgeries - it was broken in three places ) "my" copy of a ticket arrived in the mail - UNsigned of course. Citation? General speed - going what he estimated 40 in a 55.
Now before we all boil over with "THIS IS A CROCK oF $H!T, " (Akira style), I did appear, the magistrate would listen to nothing, declared me guilty, and hustled me on outa there. I didn't pay the 40 bucks but appealed. It is still in appeals I guess(all written stuff, no appearing) but I have heard NOTHING for six months. I should call, but I am busy. Maybe there's a warrant for all I know!
All that to say, I never signed anything, and they still feel they have jurisdiction.

i got that mostly out of the CTC editions:
red ink = blood, which is the living soul's stuff to seal a contract.
blue/black ink are for dead entities. i use blue ink to distinguish originals from copies...
*i* sign in red for obvious reasons.

[color=black][b]Yup, I just got one at 11:15 a.m
I bought the Ticketslayer package a few weeks ago. Is it really only 5 files. Any way I signed it the way I explained how I would a few threads back. Any help would be appreciated although I've already drafted 2 SJ's already privately.

a bit nervously, i filed the dox yesterday. here in Maryland, the DA has 15 days to respond, so, on the 19th day i will file the final three dox (you file two first, then three when he/she defaults).
my court date is november 1st, currently.
weis, i have no idea what to pass on for an opinion - i'm as green at this as a seedling just sprouting, and i can tell you i have a major disconnect between theory and application when it comes to writing pleadings, etc.
