Liscense confiscated:

A contractor of ours got his liscense confiscated the other day b/c of the following: In June (he was not a contractor yet) he was traveling in the carpool lane w/o passengers; he then went to court and chose community service or whatever rather than paying a fine. They haven't taken it off his record as 'time paid' or whatever after 3 attempts to do so. He got a letter asking him to appear somewhere (don't know the whole story on that one) and asked for his liscense and he just gave it to him! Wish I would'a known that part!

Anyway - our contractors drive with equipment they don't own and deliver it to the homeowner's house to install, therefore I believe they need a liscense to drive in commerce, am I correct?

Please, could someone point me in the right direction to help him out? I want to learn this stuff and Traffic/Travel hasn't exactly been on the list of priorites, but this guy needs his liscense to 'work' and he doen't work our business suffers too.

TIA, Jso

Liscense confiscated:

<font color = purple>[b] J S O, Traffic Studies is on the backburner till I squash the IRS's jurisdiction & venue. I am trying my best to drive like the best sheeple this side of Florida till this gets straightened out.

I would definitely study some of the Black Truth's threads regarding jurisdiction & travel. He has a link on one of them to download this package <a href = "http://www.suijuris.net/main/suijuris/forum/viewtopic.php?forum=4&showtopic=8564&show=5&page=1 ">here</a>

Most importantly, your buddy has to have a WILLINGNESS to study this stuff himself if he really wants out of this. If he doesn't want to study & defend himself, don't waste your time. I hate to say that, but unless he is illiterate, deaf, blind, or mute; he MUST be able to intelligently defend himself. Ask him if he wants to get a better understanding first before expending any energy.

Check out Professor Jim's articles on the homepage regarding persons, residents, etc . . .

If you haven't already, check out <a href ="http://familyguardian.betterthanyours.com/Subjects/Taxes/SubjectIndex.htm">Chris Hansen's site</a>

He's got that James Hardin video on traffic & I believe there's something like it in the downloads section.

& this thread <a href = "http://www.suijuris.net/main/suijuris/forum/viewtopic.php?forum=1&showtopic=4483&mode=&onlytop ic=&show=5&page=4">HERE</a>

Grace, Peace, & Mercy to ya . . .
