Parking Tickets

Meter Violation "You may appeal this citation within fifteen calender days of issuance by mailing a brief explanation, the ticket and your name and address to the above address."
Is there a remedy for this? does rfc work for parking tickets?

the officer signed the ticket on the bottom F. Delanney 111.

Refused for cause across the face. Take a copy with a postal stamp and send it via regular mail. I am too lazy to do the cert/registered mail thing anymore.

Response From City For Parking Ticket

Dear XXXXXXXX XXXXXXX
Your ADMINISTRATIVE APPEAL of the parking citation(s) listed below has been considered. After reviewing the circumstances of your case, the following determination has been made:
Ticket (s):
HHT10002262 Denied VIOLATION HAS BEEN DENIED

The amount due of $15.00 must be received at the Parking Violations Office within 15 days of this date to avoid additional penalties. This notice must be included with your payment.

If your appeal has been granted, the record of this citation(s) is dismissed.

You may appeal this notice by a written request for a formal hearing before a Parking Violations Hearing Officer. Your request must be received within 15 days of this notice at which point a hearing will be scheduled. This notice must be included with your hearing request.

Parking Violations Office

Any ideas?

I'd take the administrative remedy. Ask for a copy of the written hearing proceedure.
