I do not have license plates, regestration on any of my conveyances nor do I posess a driver license.
This happened to me just last week.

I had gone to a parts store in Citrus Height to get carbon brushes for the motor for my washing machine.
As I was walking into the store I noticed that a Citrus Heights cop had pulled into the parking space across and behind my truck.
I thought to my self. Self!!!
Great I am going to have to spend another couple of hours wasted time giving another cop a lesson on who I am and actually more to who I am not.
I went ahead into the store and as I was talking to the guy in the store I was also keeping an eye out for the cop.
In just a few minutes here comes another cop and pulled up next to the other.
He gets out of his car and goes directly behind my truck looking at the tailgate where my sign that says
Private
For Purpose of Travel only
Not For Hire
And of course there is no license plate or registration sticker.
He is speaking into his mike that he has on his shoulder obviously speaking to someone at dispatch or his superior officer.
I continue doing my business and when I am through I walk to my truck ready to deal with the cops who were now sitting in their cars.
As I was walking to my truck I kind of waved to them and nodded my head at them just to acknowledge that I knew they were there. And they nodded back.
I then got in my truck backed out of the parking space right in front of them and left.
End or story.
I have in the past spent hours on the roadside with multiple cops and even with them calling in superior officers and their lawyers,
Most of the time I have left them without any citation and I have never been to jail.
Now it seems that they are getting to know me pretty well and are not wanting to deal with me.
I'm not good for their racqueteering business
