Time to respond to Notice and Demand

I have someone that asked me a question.....

.Dear Pam: I have need to ask for some help if you could.

I've been searching for the law that would tell me how much time I need to give Behlen's to respond to my NOTICE and DEMAND, I just can't find anything on that. Also do you know if there is a law that deals specifically with the crime of conversion and it's punishment, preferably a Nebraska law?

( This was my first copy/paste...wow...that's a lot quicker!!)

What do you "guys" think?

Time to respond to Notice and Demand

Do you think it might depend on what the Notice and Demand is in regards to? How about ""30" days?... or maybe "10"?

Is it not the right of the Sovereign to decide this upon the facts of the matter?

husky,

If you really want to help them--ask them to become a member of Sui Juris--free membership is great but stragetic law information and pursuit to personal freedom is priceless.

We could better help with more info and understanding.

Time to respond to Notice and Demand

Thanks guys,

I didn't think that there was a "rule" in regards to how much time should be allowed. But, wasn't for sure.

This guy said he has tried to get on SJ, but there is a pc issue.?.?

I might have to go and try it myself and see what the deal is.

Thanks again!

Pam

Pam,

Have your friend try this.

Find the hosts file on the computer and then rename it to something like hosts.bad or some such thing and retry getting on to the site.

Hope this helps.

husky,

Not to avoid your original post....but the sovereigns create the rules. How much time does Pam think would be honorable enough to allow a response? 3 days? 5 days? 10 days? How about 24 hours?

It depends on the situation in my opinion. Your friend is free to contract with whomever without asking permission from BB.

One guy who was having trouble getting logged in properly reported being able to login fine after my software update this past weekend... so she should try again. She can use the contact form link on the registration page to email me as well...

While I'm somewhat new at this, and recently joined the Sui Juris community, I will share the information I have with you on this.

My research into Notice and Demand has primarily been with regards to commercial liens; hence, regardless of whether or not your N&D is based in commercial law, my research has been. Consequently, I found information regarding the time to respond to a N&D in the UCC. In CA, I seem to recall it being 30 days. (The cumulative time involved in sending N&D, waiting, sending Notice of Default and so forth takes it to about 90 days). I've read that it varies from federal zone to federal zone.

Why does it matter to a sovereign what the CA UCC says? Well, in my case, I'm evaluating commercial liens, so the entire point is to get my claims recognized (and enforced) by the commonly-accepted "authorities" to integrate my claim with this modern world's practices. So the point of their hoops is their co-operation (or rather, my ability to have a recognized claim in law against them for defying their own procedures).

In my research, and I didn't write down where I read this, I have also heard that the typical 30 day or 90 day periods in commercial law are due to the nature of the Law merchant (commercial law) being based in Judaic traditions and customs, where 3, and numbers divisible by 3, are important. Consequently, we have 3 day waiting periods for some things, 30 day waiting periods for others, 3 30 day (90 day) periods, and so forth. I cannot verify the accuracy of this information, but I share it in case it assists someone later.
