Re:Filing requirements
Berrien County, that's Macon area, right? I'm in Gwinnett at the moment (northeast Atlanta). I guess it doesn't matter if I'm doing it by mail.
Does anyone think that doing it in person is any better?

If so, there are no absolutes, and the only logical conclusion is that reality, truth, and right and wrong are determined arbitrarily on a daily basis by those with the most power, guns, and money, and the rest of us can choose to run, fight, or be their slaves.

Strange Law
Here in Texas I've tried to file my UCC.1 two different times and both times they denied it. The SOS of Texas excuse is you cannot contract with yourself. Like you are really contracting with yourself. It's quiet obvious between the all CAPS name and your name spelled in correct grammar. Now, what is so strange about this is Rule 52 of the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure states: "An allegation that a corporation is incorporated shall be taken as true, unless denied by the affidavit of the adverse party, his agent or attorney, whether such corporation is a public or private corporation and however created". I filed my UCC.1 in Arkansas with no problems at all. I was also wondering if I also had to file it in the county I live in but you guy's have answered my question. Any input is welcome

In respond to your question:NO. Except for if you have property to protect, and notice to the public record.
