Filing requirements
I have just filed my UCC Financing Statement in the state of GA. I was told once it is on file, it is good anywhere. I have since heard that it needs to be filed in the state of birth. Can anyone clarify for me?

Re:Filing requirements
I have also heard the same. My personal opinion is that it doesn't matter what state you file it in as long as you file it somewhere in America. The reason that I say this is simply because of the fact that by birth you are an American National (as long as you were not born on "federal territory"... like in Washington D.C.!!). It's later on that they contract you into being a U.S. (federation/corporation) citizen.
I just happen to live in the state I was born in... so I didn't have to deal with that issue. But if I did have to deal with that issue, I wouldn't be filing in my birth state. Others may have a different opinion due to the "birth certificate" issue.

Re:Filing requirements
Ice,
I have to agree with you. Once it is accepted, it is accepted.
If someone wanted to argue the validity of your UCC FS, I don't think filing it in all 50 states would stop them. (or are there 51 states? :( )

If so, there are no absolutes, and the only logical conclusion is that reality, truth, and right and wrong are determined arbitrarily on a daily basis by those with the most power, guns, and money, and the rest of us can choose to run, fight, or be their slaves.
