Anyone in Louisiana filed their UCCFS-1?

Hello ALL,

As I am reading the CTC-3, I am developing obvious questions. I also am endevoring to post only questions that I cannot seem to find an answer to in the other posts. However, I have learned that on herethat Louisiana did not adopt all the rules of UCC and I cannot find a local UCC office. Am I just out of luck or what? I learn more and more about differences in the law concerning Louisiana. I am half convinced to move! But seriously, can I still record my UCC-1 Federally and still find legal solice and private citizenship?

You can file in adjacent states. Usually, the UCC office is part of the secretary of state's office. Here in Georgia, it is part of the Clerk of the Superior Court's office, so you may have do some digging.

I am checking with the SOS today, but if nothing else, I will attempt to procure info from a neighboring state. I also wanted to share that I recently picked up a magnifying glass and finally saw the signature line on my checks at high magnification. I read about doing this in CTC-3 and boy was I amazed. It is pretty cool how they can make AUTHORIZED SIGNATURE so small and create a line out of it. AMAZING!. Anyway, just thought I would share.

<font color=cyan>[/color]<font color=indigo>[/color]I am starting to wonder how many people view this site, and if there is anyone else in Louisiana, besides myself.



Judging by the lack of response to my previous inquiries if there are other Louisianaians, I think maybe an advertising campain may be in order.



I was under the original assumption that there were hundeds, if not thousands, that viewed here. I am beginning to believe the number is more in the under one hundred range, and that I am the only one from Louisiana.



I am feeling a little disconcerted that out of all fifty states, Louisiana seems to be the most unique, in way of its legal terms, and that there is noone I can converse with from this area.



I shall remain persevering however, and learn all I can, so that I may teach others from this area. There is always a first, Right?

I found it! I found the UCC in Louisiana. Now can anyone peruse the information on this site here and tell me how it may differ in Louisiana versus what you know of the UCC protocols in other states..
