New here! Just had UCC1 filing rejected in Arizona
Hello all! I just got a "STRAWMAN FILING" rejection from the Arizona Sec. of State. They said the there was no evidence of a commercal contract and my filing was a vilotion of the ENTIRE UCC act in Arizona Revised Statutes. (ARS 47)
I have a lien recorded and it was listed on the UCC1 form. Any ideas?

This should be your first clue that the "strawman theory" is bogus. They refused to accept your filing even though you were willing to pay the fee because it was obviously nonsensical and they did not want it cluttering up their records.
Let me guess...you had your name in all capital letters as the debtor and your name typed with only the first letter of each name capitalized as the creditor or secured party? Or is it vice versa?
By the way, Roger Elvick, one of the main proponents of this theory, went to prison. Not exactly my idea of a role model.

You can file it in the state of Washington. I've heard its the easiest to file a UCC 1. They accept them from any state. It's the same as if you had a judgment in one state-- the person who filed the judgment can file it any other state and the state has to accept it. Sister state laws.
The contract is the security agreement. If you did not reference it in box 4 your UCC-1 then you have no contract.
Also, the address for the debtor should be different from the secured party.

Who is sent to prison for only filing a UCC-1?
HAHAHA!!!
More twisted deception from an attorney and anti sui juris!
You may check out the UCC group;

There are some very informative folks on there.

Many people have gone to prison for a lie that have stood up for truth. Doesn't say much for you.
I think of the Apostle Paul who, by the way, was in prison and I can think of no better role model.
Just because someone went to prison does not make them a bad role model. Why were they put their? At least they are people with integrity and backbone. Not some spineless attorn-ey that thinks more of his "practice" than he does the truth. Yeah, you're a great role model lawpuppy. LOL!!!

Elvick
I never said that filing a UCC-1 was the reason Roger Elvick went to prison.
I just noted that he was one of the main proponents of the "strawman"/redemption theories, and that he also went to prison. I think it was for filing bogus liens against public officials. I'll have to check.
In any event, once again we have evidence that some of you don't read very well.
I also understand that Elvick spent time in mental hospitals, but I have yet to verify that.

First of all, you're being silly. Roger Elvick is a typical con artist, nothing more. He tells people what they want to hear, or at least used to, at his seminars.
And actually, no, I do NOT consider those two men to be role models. Nelson Mandela is, or at least was, a Marxist, and I despise Marxists. Mahatma Gandhi, while generally a decent man, was so dedicated to pacifism above all else that he once said the Jews should have just gone meekly to their deaths at the hands of the Nazis. I find that to be a rather sick and insane thing to say.
