Special keyboard ?

Do I need a special keyboard to make the section symbol § Its easy enough to use (copy and paste) But I didnt know if there was a way to access alternate keys on a generic keyboard.

In Word:

Click on the INSERT, then SYMBOL..., then SPECIAL CHARACTERS
Highlight § and create shortcut key. Click on SHORTCUT KEY

I used Ctrl+S

How do you make the shortcut key.

I don't see a SHORCUT KEY to click on.

If you make it to SPECIAL CHARACTERS page there are two buttons on the lower leftside AUTO CORRECT... and SHORTCUT KEY...
Make sure you highlight the symbol first.

If you don't see it you might have a different version.

Thanks for the help. I need to get a copy of MS word. It will make it much easier to create these documents.
