Canada and the UCC

Canada did not adopt the UCC. They have split it out into many acts. I have found three so far.

STILL IN DRAFT: Uniform Securities Transfer Act (UCC Section 8)
http://www.mcmillanbinch.com/Uniform...ansferAct.html
Securities Act (Federal and provincial)
Business Corporations Act
Personal Property Security Act (PPSA) (Fed + prov)

I read this link quickly and found the information interesting...

Canada - PPSA history

This is an informative link.

The Canadian PPSAs have two "fathers," as it were. The first is article 9 of the Uniform Commercial Code of the United States. This comprehensive commercial code has been adopted in just about every American state, providing certainty of law for business and promoting free-trade between the states. The second "father" of the Canadian PPSA is Jacob Ziegel, a distinguished consumer law expert and chair of a Canadian uniform PPSA committee.

Cool Lil Known Canadian fact

In the early 90s I read in the papers about a person challenging the tax laws in Canada. Every time Revenue Canada took him to court he won... on the grounds that the tax was suppose to support the war time efforts of WWI & II. The last time Revenue Canada took him to court the Supreme Court Justice told Rev Cda that if they brought him to court again he would charge & fine Rev Cda.

About two years after reading that article I hear a tidbit on the radio that Parliament passed a secret vote that no one could challenge the tax laws in Canada any more.

Talk about being shafted or what. As a Canadian myself I find this irreprehensible and wonder why more Canadians are not questioning our own govt in this area.

If anyone really sat down, did their research, we would all find that we not taxes would have to be paid at all. Just a simple currency exchanged between countries. But the United States, Federal Reserve System, England have screwed the civilians of this world for their own greed.

Well I personally look to the day when all this comes crumbling down and it will cause history always repeats itself. That and man will not put up with the corruption that we are enduring today in society.

btw here is a link to DOWNLOAD the MP3 file of John Perkins "Confessions Of An Economic Hitman" as being interviewed in the news.
