Strawman sentenced to 21 years

This is one reason why I do not do recommend copyrighting of the strawman.

Copyright laws do not protect names or titles. To illustrate this truth, one only needs to review the many books and movie titles that have the same name despite having "All Right Reserved" in their copyrights. Even if you want to disbelieve the law on the issue, logic easily debunks the theory. How may people in the world have the name "John Smith"? If someone successfully copyrighted that name, then no other person with the same name with the same spelling could use it again? Its obviously this is not the case.

For what it's worth....copyright only protects against someone taking what is YOURS and getting the credit for it as if it was theirs.

You write a book. A person copys it (even in substantial part rather than whole work) and promotes it as their own work. That's what it protects from.

If that person can show that what they made is the result of an INDEPENDENT process, you are not protected.

The story is all the prisons are debtors' prisons because everyone who's there is there because they didn't do settlement and closure on their case/account. It's safe to assume mucho dinero is being made off the backs of every human rotting in the credit facility (warehouse). Jean Keating's prison treatise goes into much detail on the prison industry and how it supposedly funds a lot more of the economy than one might think. He further claims in one of the seminar DVD sets I have that he got himself out of prison by paying off the claim. He talked to his case file manager and discharged the claim (a few million $$$ + a $200 administrative fee to the Adult Parole Authority) using an IBoE (or something like that). It really is all commercial.
