Copyright before filing UCC?
I think I saw in CTC3 that you file the copyright affidavit of publication with the UCC-1 FS, right? Since the way CTC3 recommends it, it takes a month of publication before you get the affidavits.
Do you think there'd be anything wrong with doing the UCC FS filing while the publication takes place, then doing a UCC-3 amendment when it is done? Or is there a time limit before you can file a UCC-3 on a UCC-1?
Thanks!

Rushpat,
I did the exact process you just mentioned and everything is fine.& I did UCC filing first then filed a UCC3 with an original of my certificate of publication.& Not a problem.

Re:Copyright before filing UCC?
And there was no mandatory waiting period on filing the amendment? I thought I'd seen somewhere that there was a time limit on doing UCC-3's within a certain amount of time of doing the UCC-1.
Cool! That means, I can get it all done this month! I don't want to wait anymore. The sooner I'm free, the better.

If so, there are no absolutes, and the only logical conclusion is that reality, truth, and right and wrong are determined arbitrarily on a daily basis by those with the most power, guns, and money, and the rest of us can choose to run, fight, or be their slaves.
