Getting a Notary to co-operate
Sadie, Yes a Notary does witness the signing and not the content, and he can also witness dishonors of presentments as in trying to file doc's and being refused, or the dishonor of a presented negotiable instrument.
Seizeliberty, Yes, I know who Doug is and have spoekn to him on a number of occasions, though I cannot say for certain that he would recognize my name. He would however remember my face as I was in attendance at virtually all of the commonlawvenue meetings for about a year. Doug hasn't been active with CLV lately. I believe that he has started something relating to helping people lon a one to one basis learn about the commercial aspects of the law, but I am not certain. He was/is quite passionate about his sovereignty and his talks and presentations at the CLV meetings are a good part of the reason I came to become a part of this movement. As far as the Protho-Notary, I don't have very much info on that, though a close friend is one and I will ask him about it at the next availible opportunity. LT2DOGS
