Bankruptcy, is it an option for me

I have heard from the Winston Shrout tapes about bankruptcy being a good thing for a sovereign. I know it has been used to keep fellow sovereigns in their homes when evicted. I am currently in a situation where we are fighting our own eviction. What I would like to know is, if I were to go the way of bankuptcy of the straw man, what type of bankruptcy should I file, where do I get the forms for filing and what are the pitfalls in doing this process. I have not gotten enough information to make a quality decision on this issue.

Depending on your situation, Chapter 7, for credit card etc. Chapter 13, for consolidation of your debt into one payment, if you have a mortgage, and car loan etc.
Both stay in your record for 10yrs, but you sleep better at night, knowing nobody taking away your belonging.
Chapter 7, easy to do, but chapter 13, required experience bankruptcy advocate to prepared the filing papers, and the payment plan.

I don't see how bankruptcy will keep you in your home. You will still have to make payments in order to not be evicted. What it can do possibly is reduce your overall debt so that you would be able to at least make your mortgage payments but you still would have to make them nonetheless. With the new laws, this might not even work too well, as they will most likely require you to pay a portion of your other debtsas well. Here's some links to online forms:

Some online bankruptcy forms

software

There are a ton of others you can find using google.

You should probably try to talk with a bankruptcy attorney and see what they say before you do anything. Most of them will give you a free initial consultation. After hearing your circumstances, they should ba able to advise you as to wethtr or not it makes sense for you to file. Regarding the soverign issue, I don't think I would discuss that with them.

Understood what you are saying

I know of someone who went through bankruptcy and bankrupted the Strawman but the trustee is the creditor, you. This is what Winston was talking about. Have you heard about this? In this case the trustee, you the real human being, controls the bankruptcy.
