Yes!! Without prejudice UCC 1-308, work like a charm if you apply it to your authograph, its makes their eyebrows light up, and remain silent.

formulation
"Without Prejudice" is simply the UCC/attorney formulation of the 1789 'saving to suitors' clause. Writing it with your signature simply states that you retain all common law remedies, just like the 'saving to suitors' clause states.

When it comes to DL's in Michigan, the Secretary of State office will refuse your application if you sign with "all rights reserved" or any other restrictive endorsement.

The same goes for Florida in regards to dl's. On the otherhand, I have submitted documents to other state offices with such restrictive endorsements and they were accepted... Guess it all depends on the nature of the document and its' ultimate application.

Yup Florida is schizo - some things are accepted others are rejected
Some counties will record your docs - others won't
I drove to 5 counties and finally had to mail it to a friend of mine in a more "lenient" county before I recorded my status docs

Silver bullet
IMHO, people are always looking for a silver bullet - 'without prejudice' on any commerical instrument is as close to one that we are ever going to get in this litigious world.
I have had public servants try to refuse a amended endorsement, but I simply point out that the Canadian Criminal Code, s. 19, s. 336. Ignorance of the law is no excuse, and public servant refusing to deliver property. The code applies to them as they are state actors but not to me as I am in the 'private'. Section 32 of the Canadian Constitution Act, clearly states that Canadian laws, codes and regulations apply only to members of the government.

In Illinois they accepted it, without question asks, but when you file TRADENAME/TRADEMARK, The Secretary Of State will reject your application until you correct it.

I whole heartedly disagree. The only thing UCC 1-308 does is protect a remedy to a party under the UCC. These partys can only be corporations.
The sovereign does not need to reserve his rights and that has been stated by the Us supreme court.
Ucc does not protect your right to a common law remedy.
Isn't the saving to suitors clause the implementation of the 7th ammendment?
