So we've gone from "tax prisoner s" - plural - to "someone", still without any details. And I still don't think it's possible.
RobHalford88, are you the same "Robert Halford" who was convicted of multiple frauds in 1996 in US v. Hensley 91 F3d 274 ??

Yeah, someone, because I am not dropping names.
No, that isn't me. Funny how you like to try character assassinating other posters.

robhalford88 is an Aussie...g'day mate! (i think?)
So if he gets convicted perhaps it would openly be THE CROWN vs Defendant: or how is it styled down under?
Here's an Australia joke: a General is addressing the troops in New Guinea during ww2, and says "soldiers, you have come here to die..." to which one pipes up, "naww we di'unt, we got 'ere yesterday!"
Maybe you have to be Australian to appreciate that one...

Gee, nuggets everywhere.
In some places, it would be the state v defendant.

anyone interested in more info on this can email me, please include screen name. I have not personally done this and have no first hand experience. I can howe'er put you in contact with someone who has released men and women imprisoned for 'tax crimes'. Shoonra, Lawyerdawg and their ilk need not apply...
Cheers
Thom

I can certainly understand why you'd want to keep the people most capable of verifying these implausible claims to be kept out.

As far as I have seen, you have never actually verified ANYTHING, and the only thing you and your cohort are CAPABLE of is hiding beneath the Queen's foul petticoats.

come on Bernie, you of all people should have the ability to research this and see if it has ever been done. I am quite sure that its not going to be published in the newspaper with a gubernatorial photo shoot, but I am about 99% positive that its been done.
I am working on proof for public consumption, but do not wish to jeopardise transactions in process.

Actually, I would assume that the fact that I cannot find an instance of this working is strong evidence that it hasn't worked.
There are several court cases of attempts to use these so-called IBOEs to pay bills and taxes and the IBOEs being rejected.
Most courts that I have heard about simply refuse to accept checks, even travelers checks, to post bond and insist on cash.

Yeah, because only a court can settle a matter and it just has to be published, right librarianugget?
You need to step away from the hookah bernie, it is bad for you.
