I am having the same problem since the site was last down. I just view the posting without logging in. Will login and respond when the problem is fixed.

Loggin in and Download problems now.
When I log in it asks if I want to accept the certificate, which I do. I then get bounced to a blank page with this at the top.

The asterics are mine to let you know the beginning and end of the code.
I also can not download anything. I go through the motions to download something, I check the accept box, click download and then the page refreshes, new icons are shown for navigation BUT, no picture is found for each icon so I get the blank box with a little red x in them. AND, no download will ever start, I do however get this error code at the top of the page.

Could the downloads be fixed please, I am not worried about logging in as all I have to do is go to the home page and it shows me as being logged in, even after the errors.
I am really needing the FDCP files though as we are having troubles currently with a cell phone company.
Thank you,
Mark G

Also, I have to log in almost everytime I want to post, obtain a file, etc. Even after I have recently logged in.

I didn't have that type of problem. You might want to check your computer for Virus or spyware. Sometimes spyware or virus can cause that type of problem.

Helping hand?
I would gladly offer my services to getting the download area fixed. I am not expert, but I have been working PHP on a few sites and can follow it's logic rather well. I am currently working with my own forum and blog and learning all the ins and outs. I have also coded my own online database site with PHP.
I just want it fixed. I can offer my time and look at the code if wanted. I usually have a lot of free time around the house and love to work on code.
Think about it. If you want you can private message me and I will give you my number if you want a person to person chat.
Thank you,
Mark

Thank you Smith and Weaponx;
I have always just overlooked the problem and taken the time to load images of pages to the Articles area. It would be good to upload more efficiently.
Regards,
David Merrill.

I too just view postings without logging in, much faster.
Most likely others have adapted to this format and that is why the Guest number is sitting at a rather constant level - could very well be registered users, not wanting to bother with the addtional login hassle of signing on, closing, and re-initiating.

No Fix
As of today, April 7,2007 (Gregorian) the downloads secrion has STILL not been fixed. I have steered A LOT of users to this site, and I would think that we could either have a fix done by now, or a notice posted that download section is temporarily unavailable on the front page, so that we would not waste our time.
How about just moving the downloads to a new, easier to use file, and deleting the problem?
Of course, I am not that knowledgable in this coding stuff, nor programming, so if this isn't possible, I hereby apologise for my ignorance.
