What is the criteria by which names appear as "Authors" in the drop-down box on the Advanced Search page?

I was tryin to search my own posts and realized i wasn't in the list *tear*

Only people who have contributed an article or commented on one show up in that form.

If you want to view all you posts, click on your profile button under any of your posts, and then click "view all postings by ..."

Yes, i already use that link, but I was trying to "search" for keywords in my posts.
