Service disruption??

Apparently SUIJURIS.NET was out of commission for a few days. I couldn't get at it until just now (Thursday, June 7, 10 AM), but couldn't do it for the last three or four days nor even two hours ago.

And it seems this wasn't only my problem: The forum shows a few postings labelled TODAY, but nothing labelled YESTERDAY or June 3,4, or 5. So it would appear the SUIJURIS was out of commission for a few days. Maybe a problem at the Suijuris home, maybe a problem with the IPS or a storm caused a blackout, whatever.

I had suggested before and I suggest again, if SUIJURIS is off the air for more than a few hours, someone - probably the Admin or someone he can phone - should post a message on the Usenet, that we can find by doing a Group Google.

By the way, when I click on the forum menu for what should be the latest posting on a thread, I instead find myself at the beginning of the thread or at least at the beginning of the last page of the thread. Isn't there a way to be able to click directly to the last message??

I agree, it would be good to have an idea of what's going on.

Yea, you right shoonra. That' a good idea. It's happening suddenly nobody thought of that at the time of break out.
All will try to do is to get it back online.
Jason does a good work to get it back online on time. I give him credit for doing so.

There was a server malfunction due to our hosting company's migration of their server farm. They "the hosting company" are doing some upgrades this month. The problem was that I couldn't log in to our server to restart the services.

Finally this morning at or around 5 or 6 am I was able to get in and get things going.

Alas, we are back up, but we are still in need of some tweaks here and there to get the downloads and other kinks working correctly.
