VOD 9pg and 14 pg enhancement?

Hi Sui Juris,

I was looking through the 9pg and 14 pg auto generated VOD docs in the Forms and Letters section. I noticed when I compared them with what Jerseee's 14 pg VOD the following differences.

auto gen. forms:

REGISTERED MAIL NO.

Jerseee's 14 pg VOD

He uses Certified Mail No.

Offer of performance doc item 6.

auto gen. form cites California Code

6. Respondent/Offeror hereby gives Debt Collector notice that, as an operation of law as codified at California Civil

Code § 1485 and California Code of Civil Procedure § 2074, respectively:

(a) An obligation is extinguished by an offer of performance, made in conformity with the rules prescribed, and

with the intent of extinguishing the obligation;

(b) An offer in writing to pay a particular sum of money, as well as to deliver a written instrument/specific personal

property, is, if not accepted, the equivalent of the actual production and tender of the

money/instrument/property.

Jerseee's doc states the following:

6. Resspondent/Offeror hereby gives Debt Collector notice of public policy 73-10 (House Joint Resolution 192, June 5, 1933).

I would like to know if you would be able to set these items up as options on the forms? This would enable people who would send it Certified instead of Registered and for people who do not live in California.

Any one else have any thoughts to these enhancement?

Thanks,

Chuck.

VOD 9pg and 14 pg enhancement?

Chuck,

I would advise not to use it as a boilerplate doc. I no longer use 14 pages. I just do a simple letter first. There are similiar codes within your state--this you must research on your own.

Remember, we are trying to push self suffiency (the basis of soveriegnty).

Everyone needs to modify the docs to address their own situations as each is different.

Thanks for the feedback Jerseee! That clarifies some thoughts I was having about this.

Ditto on what Jerseee said.

Also, there is the issue of what goes through the heads of the alleged creditor when they get a boilerplate doc.
