SuiJuris, Thanks for the post of the comic book. It was an enjoyable read.
I especially like the part that money needs no intrinsic value, and that paper money is a store of wealth, and then several pages later they say that inflation makes it worth-less. Well then how can it be a store of wealth?? Use something that has intrinsic value.
Also if you look at the properties that it needs. Like divisible into smaller units for making change . . . hmmmm . . . I think I remember seeing a 1/10th oz gold coin once and unless I'm an idiot that is the result of dividing a 1 ounce gold coin 10 times.
I really like how the system creates money . . . so I should go open an account then borrow 90% of it and open another and another and another, Then I'm creating all kinds of money. Fractional Reserve - Easier than operating a printing press.
